A proposed settlement has been reached regarding the termination of post-retirement benefits for Avon Canada Inc. retirees, surviving spouses, and dependent children. The court date for the settlement approval hearing is October 27, 2026.

Justice Martin of the Manitoba Court of King’s Bench heard the Plaintiff’s motion for summary judgment on April 7-8 and June 16, 2026. A decision has not yet been released.
Kiashke Zaaging Anishinaabek (Gull Bay First Nation) v. Canada and Ontario
This proposed class action alleges that the Governments of Canada and Ontario have underfunded and mismanaged the First Nations and Inuit Policing Program in Ontario.
