Lorne Richmond on the awarding of damages in construction labour relations disputes
Lorne Richmond will speak at Insight’s 6th Biennial Construction Labour Relations Conference. Lorne will talk about the rules on damages in jurisdictional disputes and sector disputes and will examine such issues as when an employer must pay damages, whether sector disputes are relevant in jurisdictional disputes, whether the Board should play a more active mediation role at the pre-consultation conference stage and whether disputes can be resolved more quickly.
