Biography
Sarah-Claude L’Ecuyer (she/her) became a lawyer to help workers and members of marginalized communities get treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. A passionate advocate, you can count on Sarah to carefully listen and guide her clients so that they can find the best solution to meaningfully address their specific needs.
Deeply committed to protecting and advancing workers’ rights, Sarah represents private and public sector unions and their members in grievance arbitration and in proceedings before various administrative tribunals. A proud francophone, Sarah offers her services in French and in English.
Sarah obtained her Juris Doctor and Licentiate in Law from the University of Ottawa where she studied exclusively in French. During law school, she was an active volunteer in feminist organizations, founded a student association for social justice oriented students and worked on multiple public interest research projects. Prior to entering law school, Sarah studied health sciences and psychology. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 after articling and summering at the Firm.
In her free time, you can find Sarah curled up with a good book and teaching feminist law reform to brilliant law students at the University of Ottawa.
