July 14, 2014

Howard Goldblatt has been elected a Fellow of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.

The College is described by the Financial Post as follows:

The College is an American organization that recognizes lawyers and neutrals who have distinguished themselves in labour and employment law in Canada and the U.S. Potential members must be nominated by current Fellows and elected based on their adherence to professional qualifications and ethical standards based on the College’s Principles of Civility and Professionalism; their character, integrity, professional expertise and leadership; a commitment to the College; sustained, exceptionally high-quality services to clients, bar, bench and public; and significant evidence of scholarship, teaching, lecturing and/or published writings on labour and employment law.

As the Post notes, relatively few Canadians are Fellows of the College.

Congratulations, Howard, on this well-deserved honour!
