Biography
Keerthana Sivapatham helps workers organize and enforce their rights at work. Her practice focuses primarily on representing construction industry trade unions in all types of proceedings before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, from certification and unfair labour practices to enforcing the provisions of collective agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Keerthana worked as an in-house lawyer at a large health care union where she represented members in grievances and complaints against their employers, including unjust terminations and human rights violations. She continues that work at the firm, representing, in addition to her construction trade union clients, college faculty and other organized employees in a variety of workplace disputes.
A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, Keerthana worked at student-run and community legal clinics while at school, helping vulnerable community members understand the law and navigate stressful disputes with their landlords and employers.
Keerthana is a member of Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
