Char Wiseman is a member of our legal research team. She conducts legal research, provides advice and engages in written advocacy in most of the firm’s practice areas, including labour law, administrative law, human rights law, constitutional litigation, public interest litigation, civil litigation and class actions. She also helps coordinate the construction labour relations practice.
Char is very involved in client and community legal education, and writes on developments and issues in labour, human rights and Charter law.
Char received her law degree from the University of Toronto. She also has a bachelor of arts degree from McGill University. She articled with the firm and returned following her call to the Bar in 2001.
Char is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers. She has also served on the Board of the Fred Dowling Housing Cooperative and volunteered with the Pathways to Education Program and Supporting our Youth.
