Kim Stanton on public inquiries
Kim Stanton will deliver the keynote address on the National Inquiry on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls at a meeting of the Association of Women Lawyers (Calgary).
Kim will then participate in a panel discussion of the National Inquiry’s recommendations and their potential for implementation going forward. Panelists include Koren Lightning-Earle, the Law Society’s Indigenous Initiatives Liaison, and Sarah Sinclair, with Calgary Legal Guidance’s sahwoo mokhaak tsi ma taas (Before Being Judged) Program.
