Alexander settlement approval hearing postponed
The settlement approval hearing in Alexander v. Ontario, scheduled for June 24, 2016, has been adjourned to allow the parties additional time for discussions.
Alexander v. Ontario is a class action in which the plaintiff alleges that the Government of Ontario transferred municipal employees to Community Care Access Centres without making necessary changes to the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System Act to allow the employees to continue membership in the the OMERS plan.
