A Message From Our Managing Partner
Steven Barrett outlines the Firm’s response to COVID-19
As we all pull together to try and slow the spread of COVID-19, Goldblatt Partners is working to keep our clients, employees and others safe.
We are making arrangements for as many of our lawyers and staff as possible to work at home, at least for the next 2 to 3 weeks. A small number of lawyers and staff will be present in the office each day, and we are taking steps to ensure their safety as well as the safety of any clients who may need to come to our office during this period. We ask that you not come to our office if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms, or if you have travelled outside Canada in the last 14 days.
In order to minimize visits to our office, the Firm has instructed lawyers to substitute conference calls and videoconferencing for in-person meetings whenever possible. Our office will be open only from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in order to allow the few staff who are here to travel during non-peak times. We have also cancelled the two Leading Questions client seminars that were scheduled for April. They will be rescheduled when social distancing measures are no longer necessary.
We will continue to respond to our clients’ needs as promptly as is reasonably possible during this challenging time, and remain ready and able to serve you as best we can.
If you have any questions, or we can assist you in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me or the lawyer with whom you are working.
