The Impact of International Trade Disciplines on the Proposal for a Public Private Partnership to Operate a Water Filtration Plant in the Seymour Reservoir

In this July 2001 opinion, Steven Shrybman considered the potential impact of international trade disciplines on the proposal to establish a public private partnership to design, build and operate a water filtration plant in the Seymour Reservoir.

The Canadian Council for Public Private Partnerships asked Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP to prepare a response to Steven’s opinion, which can be read at the CCPPP website.

In turn, Steven prepared a reply to the Fasken opinion:  Canada’s International Trade Obligations and Municipal Government Authority: A Response to the Canadian Council for Public Private Partnerships.
