In this article published in The Advocates’ Society’s “Keeping Tabs” publication, Louis and Geetha interview some of the young advocates who appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada in R. v. Le. The lawyers who argued the Le appeal on behalf of the appellant and various interveners were younger and more diverse than lawyers who typically appear before the Supreme Court. The interviews address the importance of diversity in the courtroom.
