This Leading Questions webinar, COVID Case Law Update, was designed to give our clients the latest information on case law involving COVID-19 and its impact on issues like health and safety, collective agreement interpretation, and human rights.

Ryan Newell started the webinar with a review of just cause and collective agreement interpretation in the COVID era, as well as challenges that have been made to mandatory COVID testing policies.

Gabe Hoogers discussed the duty of fair representation, single site policies, family status accommodation, and a case involving the impact of the province’s emergency regulations on arbitration procedure.

Simran Prihar wound up the webinar with a review of decisions related to Occupational Health and Safety Act rules.
