Stephanie Hobbs is a labour lawyer in our Toronto office. She represents clients in all types of proceedings before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, including certification, unfair labour practice complaints, related employer applications, and construction industry grievances. She also represents public sector clients in labour arbitration proceedings, including in the education, hospital and energy sectors.
In addition, Stephanie represents clients before other administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and in professional disciplinary proceedings.
Stephanie graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2008, earning both a master’s degree in environmental studies and a bachelor of laws. While at law school, Stephanie participated in the intensive programme at Parkdale Community Legal Services, where she was awarded the prize in Poverty Law for excellence in clinical practice and community legal work. On graduation, Stephanie also received prizes for achieving the highest standing in Administrative Law.
Stephanie was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009 after articling with the firm. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
