Steven Barrett will participate in Osgoode Professional Development’s Critical Case Update: The SCC’s New Freedom of Association Trilogy: Understanding the Practical Implications.

The panelists will examine the current state of the law under section 2(d) of the Charter; the practical implications of the new decisions for employers, employees and unions; the implications for current and future cases under section 2(d) of the Charter; and the  constitutional right to strike and the future of back-to-work and “essential services” legislation.
