Kelly Doctor to teach human rights remedies
Kelly Doctor and other panelists will teach remedies in Osgoode Professional Development’s Certificate in Human Rights Theory and Practice. This part of the program will look at the remedial powers of human rights tribunals, including both the traditional remedies of damages and/or reinstatement and systemic remedies. It will also address how to overcome the practical challenges to enforcing human rights settlements. Kelly will address the interplay between human rights legislation and related legislative provisions.
